It’s one of the most lovely dog park for my Ollie. He enjoyed all the time with his friends. Good location, easy parking, well maintained grass. Just to note that there’s Cricket sports during the weekend. Better to setup a notification board to notify dog owners the time of sports.

Stopped in to fly my drone around the Bert Oldfield Oval. This park gets very busy in the afternoon with people out walking with dogs. On the weekends it fills up with people attending for club sporting events. Attached a couple of drone photos from my visit:

Great little park for letting your dog off the lead for a run, or for some exercise, or to just find some shade on a hot day.
Not much in the way of picnic facilities though.

Primarily a dog park but some play soccer and cricket too. The days of pugilists thumping each other with barefist fighting are long gone as the area has got increasingly gentrified. Nice bunch of people and dogs frequent here. Be mindful to walk anti clockwise around the oval (who knows why…some weird Cicadian rhythm). Toilets and free doggie bags dor picking up mess are the norm here.

Nice dogs only please. Prefer no aggressive breeds if poss. Picture perfect oval, gets a bit boggy after heavy rain but otherwise a great place to let your pooch meet the locals.

A great local playground with 5 swings, a medium size slide and some rope climbings and a hoursey ride and a see saw. There is a big doggy park next to the playground that would be fun place for kids watchong dogs running and playing. Also there are plemty of carparks qvailable in front of the playground. The entire place is a flat area hence there will be no issues to go there on a wheelchair.

My daughter and I like to come up with collective nouns for the groups of dogs at this park.
Like a “Blonde” of golden retrievers. …. or a “Sleek” of greyhounds.
A group of dogs with questionable lineage is called a bunch of Nixed Mutts.

Very poor oval for first grade womens cricket. Divots everywhere, parts of the centre wicket area lifting.

I know why I don’t go to dog parks (not a fan of them tbh) . We sat on the outside of the dog park and watched a dog (clearly not with its owner) do it’s business and no one there to pick up after it😡So someone likely could have trod in it. The rest of the park was good, good parks and a tennis court which seemed to be put to good use.
