As a dog owner, you have rights and responsibilities both to your pet and to the community.
Always obey any signs regarding dogs and when and where you can allow them off their lead. Dogs that are taken off their lead must remain under control of a person at all times. At times you should carry a chain, cord or leash to restrain your dog, dog owners must remain within effective voice or hand control distance of the dog at all times. A person in charge of the dog must not allow the dog to chase or threaten another person or animal.
The most common dog complaint is about dog droppings or dog waste on footpaths and in parks. Please ensure that you remove and dispose of your dog’s waste in public places.
Always remember to be respectful in open spaces as they are used by dog lovers, sports lovers and nature lovers.

Great place to share memories and midge bites with the whole family. The park has excellent features which includes a kids play park, a swimming pool with a purpose designed suicide slide for the kids to play on. Make sure you lock up your belongings though as thief’s frequent the premise grounds in the early hours and will help themselves to anything not locked away! The local crack addict is known by police but neither they or park management can do anything to deter her from shopping at the park. You have been warned!
