As a dog owner, you have rights and responsibilities both to your pet and to the community.
Always obey any signs regarding dogs and when and where you can allow them off their lead. Dogs that are taken off their lead must remain under control of a person at all times. At times you should carry a chain, cord or leash to restrain your dog, dog owners must remain within effective voice or hand control distance of the dog at all times. A person in charge of the dog must not allow the dog to chase or threaten another person or animal.
The most common dog complaint is about dog droppings or dog waste on footpaths and in parks. Please ensure that you remove and dispose of your dog’s waste in public places.
Always remember to be respectful in open spaces as they are used by dog lovers, sports lovers and nature lovers.

Took our dog for the first (& only time) today, one side of the park contained 3 sheep dogs. Their owner told us we couldn’t enter the park because his dogs act like a pack and gang up on other dogs. Went to go in the other side a very rude man told us not to come in that side as his two small dogs attack and bite other dogs and if we wanted to go in we should wait or turn until he and his dogs left.
Helpful ReviewTo my understanding a public park is for public, no person had the right to stop another from entering. Hey dog owners ….. if your dogs can’t play with others DON’T TAKE THEM TO A PUBLIC DOG PARK. Never dealt with such disgustingly rude people ever!!!

Nice park for the dogs. 2 areas so you can segregate. Bags and bin provided. Nice outing for our and our daughter’s dogs.

My Kelpie loves our local park. At the moment the grass is pretty good, but does still have some dirt so can become quite dusty when there’s a few pups around.
People have brought some hoses, and tubs for drinking water. And there’s always a spare ball or 2 left behind.
One issue is weeds, during summer this can be horrible for pup. Burs/Bindis in paws and fur. Seems to have improved since there’s been good rainfall in early 2021… Last year was pretty bad though.

We took our dog to this park twice in two days and there was a couple there each using a fenced area, they refused to let us in because their dogs dont socialise. This led to quite a verbal arguement. How rude these two should be banned from using the facility. A young couple after use also tried to get in and he proceeded to block them as well. There not dog loving owners their both a pair of @##@#@. Great park if we could have got in without having to assault two idiots to use it.

It is a good Park clean and tidy, I love how there is 2 fenced off areas and it’s great for kids as well so it can be an outing for all the family. Now why it’s no 5 star… Be prepared to come with towels to wipe your dogs down as there is a few large areas of sand that becomes mud and they make a lot of mess…. And unfortunately no toilets for is humans to use. Bit overall the park is definitely one of the better ones around

Very clean, tidy, well looked after park, great play equipment for kids that are very modern and clean no spider qeba underneath them, its also got a closed in section for dogs , only negative no toilets

Great dog park. Two sectioned-off areas to keep dogs separate if needed. Water, doggy bags and bin available. Also a children’s play area next to it. Seating and trees around.
