We take Snow every six weeks for a wash/groom! Staff know her very nervous/anxious temperament and do their best to handle her patiently and carefully. She always looks, feels (and smells) beautiful after!

We were regulars at pawsome for many years but on our last visit, our dog came back distressed and smelling of vomit. Her face and snout area was also still wet. Unsure if there has been a change in management but we won’t be going back there. Disappointed.

Concerning experience. First time as my usual groomer was unavailable. I took my 5 month old groodle in for a wash and groom. I was told it would take 1.5 hrs and he was in and out in under an hour, which I thought was unusually quick.
I was told that he was very difficult to groom, they could not do much, and that next time they will need to sedate him.
This was extremely concerning to me.
A puppy or dog should only be sedated by a vet or vet nurse for a legitimate reason.
I would not recommend this groomer and I won’t be taking my puppy back there.

My puppy is a small cavoodle and very friendly but a little nervous, I went to collect her however she was not ready and I saw the groomer pick her up by her head to put her back on the table from the floor, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Would not go again.

Bad experience. My pup was very well behaved and happy to be trimmed and have his nails cut prior to going here. It’s the only place he’s ever been professionally groomed and since going there he is terrified to have his feet touched or a pair of scissors go anywhere near him. He’s completely traumatised.
They clearly don’t spend any time on positive reinforcement or care for the dogs well-being. It’s simply in and out as fast as possible. Especially considering how high the price is, it’s truly unacceptable.

On a good note , I was able to have a last minute appointment which was very much needed after a vacation and my pup being in desperate need of groom. But I believe they were overbooked as an hour and half latter my dog was only washed and had been standing on her own muzzled stressed on the grooming table for at least 15 min before I went in to enquire about it . I was told she was nervous dog and needed 2 people for her groom and that would take another hour or so . At this point she was clearly stressed and yelping with the groomers attending to other pets at the time . All the while she was left to wait and ” calm down ” on her own . This was so upsetting to me at which point I came in to hold her still so the groomer could shave her body. They were clearly trying… But overbooked and hence leaving a puppy muzzled on grooming table for a length of time was not what I expected for the high price. It took another hour plus to groom my tiny puppy. For the high price I expected better service .

I was very disappointed with the “service” or lack there of. It was my dog’s 1st grooming experience and he came home looking exactly the same as I dropped him off and for the price (over $100) I definitely won’t be going back.

We took our 10 month old Cavoodle for her very first cut. Understandably we were a bit nervous as we didnt want Hennie to come out looking like a skinned rabbit !
Helpful ReviewWe asked for Hennie to just be “cleaned up” and sure take off whatever you need but we still want her to look like she still has hair. Jan listened and they did a puppy cut and Hennie looks great and we are very happy.

1st timer as couldn’t get in to usual groomer. Was quoted a price and told 1 and 1/2 hrs. got a text 40 mins later saying ready and then increased price because they needed another person to help with grooming a golden retriever? Prices already a lot higher than other places and then to increase again on pickup. My dog was very anxious before and after the experience unfortunately.

Unfortunately, not going back again. The grooming was done well and quickly, but we don’t want any more hassle of dealing with the manager – very unprofessional. We should have followed our instinct when we made a booking…

Found Jan to be very polite and helpful. My partner dropped the pup and Jan called me to find out any specifications that I wanted so that my pup didn’t have any surprises. It was a bit pricey – but the quality was up to standard. Would support and use the services again!
