Great prices but the lady was almost violent towards most of the animals and unfriendly towards my little girl, basically saw her throw a bird and squish fish as she collected one for me. The tanks were not clean at all. I was actually shocked at the state of the store.

Brilliant But Blue
Highly recommend this store. Connie is fantastic with all the animals and a real “local feel”, prices are cheaper than the bigger chains. Always a warm welcome and a chat.

I saw a puppy that had no food or water shaking in the corner. The birds are featherless!!!!! I feel truly hopeless as I want to rescue all the animals that come into this store 🙁 it’s digusting and smells like smoke 😔

This pet store has quality materials and feed for good prices! Their fish appear healthy and their aquariums are kept very clean. The staff are very friendly and approachable!
Helpful ReviewHowever, the birds are kept in very cramped and dirty cages. Many of the birds have issues with their wings and tail feathers, they appear to be chewed off it seems! A few budgies there had strange tumour like growths under their tails, and there seems to be more birds than room in a cage. Puppies are sold in the store, to which I personally frown upon, as they obviously support backyard breeders, and adding to the huge amount of homeless dogs. Not to mention the puppies are kept in very small crates!
I think if this store worked on caring for their birds more, and choosing not to support backyard breeders, they would be an excellent store.
