The staff at Melbourne Rabbit Clinic are so knowledgeable, kind and empathetic. They go above and beyond to take care of your furry friends. Unfortunately my little Henry couldn’t be saved , however, Dr. Cathy and the wonderful vet nurses made our experience a lot easier. Would highly recommend!

They are amazing with rabbits but are extremely pricey. I paid over $300 to treat mine and was told to come back in a few weeks for a follow up appointment to see if the treatment had worked. I was then charged $70 for the follow up and given a prescription for something new. I was told every time I needed a new prescription, I’d have to come in and pay for a $70+ consult and couldn’t just buy more medicine if needed. Most vets will give you a new script without charging you for a full consult!

My visit here left me with mixed feelings. My guinea pig was unwell and in pain and I turned up at 9.00 am without an appointment. Luckily for me there had been a 10.00 am cancelation so I waited for an hour and they slotted me in. I was grateful for the vet seeing my guinea pig, but I did come away with a bad taste in my mouth. Possibly they could put on another part time vet if they are that busy so that our little pets can get the help these vets have trained for.

I called you last Monday about our critically ill bunny. We were at our usual vets with our bunny suffering from stasis and a suspected blockage. We had a referral from our vet. Sadly you would not see our bunny and only had time for an appointment later in the week. We managed to find another rabbit savvy vet, after a lot of calling around who saw us straight away. Sadly our bunny passed away.
