Today we had a home visit from Dr Cesar to clean my 3 year old Cocker spaniel teeth. I could not believe how calm the dog was during the appointment. The result is amazing, wonderful pearly white teeth and fresh breath again. Thank you Dr Cesar, we definitely will recommend!

Dr Cesar drove to Central Vic to clean my 11 year old adopted greyhounds teeth at home. No stress of going to the vets. She had a lot of tartar and bad breath. Without anaesthesia she now has clean teeth and no bad breath. She is also eating better. Thanks Dr Cesar

I had my german shepherds teeth cleaned by Dr Cesar today at my house. She is 9 years and 6 months old she has tartar buildup and i didn’t want to put her under anaesthetic. My girl laid on the mattress with Dr Cesar and was very calm.

Don’t take your pet here if they are naturally very nervous. My dog was in discomfort the entire time and the vet just kept pushing his hands against my dogs eyes causing their face to be swollen and sore after the procedure. They could barely open their eyes for the rest of the day. My dog also did not have a wobbly tooth prior. He obviously used so much force that he pushed it out of place. I would never subject my pet to such cruelty again. I should have not proceeded after seeing the 1 star reviews left on their Google page. He also did not let me stay in the same room and I heard him getting short and raising his voice, so much so I thought he was calling out for me. He was getting frustrated with my dog. Don’t subject your dog to this inhumane service. The only effort he made to prepare my dog for the treatment were just some “head rubs” then went straight to pinning my dog down with force the entire procedure.

Dr Cesar did an amazing job cleaning Penny’s teeth. An even better clean than the vets have done under anesthetiser. Being a rescue dog who hates strangers and being handled, I was amazed how well Penny responded to this technique. Dr Cesar calmed her down and even managed to work around a large polyp. Will only use this method going forward.

Omg how do I put into words how amazing my experience was with this service. Dr Cesar you are such a legend. Not only was the teeth cleaning done comfortably for my doggy but Cesar was great company and we had many laughs. I will definitely be a return customer. I cannot believe how happy my dog pippa was straight after the cleaning she was wagging her tail! Usually vet visits end in her being terrified! Thanks so much again cesar 🙂

I’m afraid that after the experience that both my dog Pesky & my partner had with Cesar & Australian Animal Oral Care & my own experiences with the company I am compelled to let others know who may be considering these treatments.
I’ll recount our experience which from start to finish was simply bad. To begin with Cesar was late for the appointment. 90 mins late in fact. My partner had to chase him up via his staff before he managed to touch base himself explaining his reasons. Since then we were told by Haidee at the office that he had been having a rough day. To be honest in that situation if that were the case it would have been best to just reschedule for him & for us.
When Cesar eventually did arrive he took no time at all to get to know Pesky. Cesar himself if you’ve met him or seen his videos is a large somewhat intimidating man so putting our dog at ease with a large, strange visitor should be a given yet no time was taken to do so. It is advertised as an essential part of the treatment that Cesar uses relaxation techniques & acupressure to calm the patient for their clean but again he seemed in such a rush that it didn’t happen. Instead Cesar slapped down the mattress, cleared a space around him & roughly placed Pesky on his back. Had he taken proper time to introduce himself he would of learnt that our 14 year old dog gets regular treatment for arthritis in his shoulders & front legs including acupuncture & massage & therefore forcing him on his back was certainly not the best course of action.
On the day my partner had a friend there with her & many times both felt concerned enough to consider asking that the treatment be stopped due to Pesky’s obvious distress & discomfort but in the interest of the procedure being done as well as possible left Cesar to his work. A 25 minutes after arriving the clean was done. Cesar also felt it necessary to somewhat blame Pesky’s dental health on his diet making my partner feel responsible although she brushes his teeth every other day with Cesar’s own products! I suppose he was just basing his opinion on past experience but it didn’t make my partner feel any better. Immediately following the procedure Cesar was in a hurry to leave & offered no helpful advice on after-care.
After his clean Pesky was left very traumatised to the point where for the next 2 days he was violently ill & vomited several times. It’s a pattern we recognise whereby if he has been upset or scared it upsets his tummy & this was the case after Cesar’s visit. My partner & I were left upset & very concerned for him & hastily scheduled a massage from his regular therapist to counter the effects of the rough treatment. The next night when she visited Pesky was still affected & was nervous & shaken even though she has visited several times previously & he always enjoys her company.
I contacted Haidee via AAOC & as calmly as I could recounted our experience. She admitted that Cesar had had a tough day & agreed that the treatment Pesky had received did not fully match up with what was offered & normally given. As Cesar was unwell on that day we were asked to wait until after the Easter weekend to hear back about our concerns. On the following Thursday I made contact again & was relayed much of a different story from Cesar’s point of view. I asked that Haidee contact my partner for her account of events & it seemed after that conversation that Cesar not only doesn’t like to hear criticism from customers or to even have his staff relay such feedback . Save for the fact of being very late & not asking about Pesky’s conditions he considered that everything else about his visit was fine & dandy & was completed as it should have been.
In the end we were offered a $75 refund( a number I’m not even sure how they came to? ) & a handful of Cesar’s own products as compensation.
If your pet is an anxious soul especially around strangers this really may not be the best option for him/her. Otherwise you never know it might be a better experience for you especially if Cesar is in a better frame of mind himself?

I was really nervous about Arlo getting his teeth done but there was nothing to worry about. It was a completely fine experience for him. His teeth are also very healthy. The at home routine is working SO well. Arlo loves the taste of the spray and toothpaste so cleaning his teeth is now a joy.

Caesar was fantastic with our two English Pointers. Both are rescue dogs and can be funny around strangers, but he had them reclining in his lap being lavished with adoration and soft Spanish crooning.

If I could put 10 stars on this man I would. I initially went elsewhere to a dental hygienist who advised me my dogs teeth/back molars most likely needed removal. As I did not want to go down this path I persisted and found Cesar. He was a vet but moved into doggy dental. I wanted to stay as I thought my dog would fret. The minute I placed my dog in Cesar’s arms he was relaxed. When Cesar worked on him, my dog was in a almost sleepy trans. I could not believe it. I was able to check his teeth after the visit and he was clean…. No tartar, white teeth, no bark, no anaesthetic and no pulling out of teeth. His breath smelt like coconut with s bit of mint…I don’t know how he did it but my dog was super relaxed. We sat for a photo and my dog did not want to leave. I can’t get over that Cesar was a stranger to my dog and my dog had this huge smile. We shared a joke and said ‘ I’ve lost my dog to you… he doesn’t want me anymore’… thank you so much…. Thank you to the groomer Steph who followed through with a pamper. They need this service for humans particularly the relaxed dentist part!! Thank you again to the team, Caesar, Haidee and groomer Steph…pearly smooches from one chilled out Milo. It was such a wonderful experience my dog Mocha have with Dr Cesar. He was able to calm my dog down, give him plenty of massages, taught him Spanish 🙂 He handle my dog as through he was a dog whisperer. Most importantly the whole procedure, Mocha doesn’t need to be under local anaesthetic. I would definitely used Australia animal oral care in my near future for my dogs dental need, and would recommend all my family and friends. 👍👍👍🐶👏👏

I take the responsibility of caring for my little toy poodle Jake, very seriously. I prioritise his health and well-being, ensuring that if I am able to make a decision for him, that will allow for his comfort and happiness, then I do so. I didn’t want Jake under anaesthetic for a teeth clean and the idea of a home visit, where I could keep Jake in his familiar environment was very appealing. That’s why booking with Australian Animal Oral Care was a no brainer for me. I work in the Pet Supply industry and had only ever heard great things! Cesar validated all of the good feedback. He entered my home so respectfully and immediately started working on developing a friendly rapport with Jake. Initially I couldn’t imagine how Jake was going to be able to relax and lay on his back for the teeth clean procedure, but in no time there he was, laying down, without struggle, getting his teeth cleaned, with Cesar’s calming approach to reassure him that he was safe and could relax. Following the procedure, there was no down time or recovery required for Jake. He was up and about as his usual perky self, just with shiny white teeth! Dr Cesar is amazing! I’m still amazed at how he is able to clean my fur babie’s (golden retriever, spoodle and cavoodle) teeth without the use of anaesthetic. All three were calm throughout the process, which is a miracle! It’s amazing this service is available as my boys are older and I don’t like the idea of putting them under for a teeth clean.
This is the second time I have used Dr Cesar and am yet again very please with the results. All three had a lot of plaque and tartar build up but now have beautiful pearly whites again! I highly recommend Dr Cesar and the service he provides.

My 10.5 yr old Labradoodle Duffy has occasional seizures, he had knocked loose some teeth during a seizure and had some plaque but it was not a good idea to have an anaesthetic to fix this. I was so pleased to find Dr Cesar who had a more holistic approach to fixing this AND he comes to my house !! No stress on Duffy and in fact he seemed to enjoy the experience.. This has fixed his bad breath and his teeth look great .. I will tell everyone that this is the best way to clean your dog’s teeth.. very gentle and professional.. will definitely use again ..

Dr Cesar is amazing. He spent a long time just calming down Dozer, whom had a fear of being on his back. Using his awesome spray and gentle stroking, as well as his melodic Spanish speech, he got Dozer to the point where he was able to clean his teeth.

Cesar was great with our three furry children. Bruno, almost 8 years old was at stage 3 of periodontal disease, Waldo 6 years-old was at 2, and Bridget was from 1 going to 2. Cesar took care of their teeth patiently and throughly cleaned their teeth. Educated us about oral care and cat’s diet. A full qualified service and education to maintain their teeth in best health. Ive nver wanted to put my dog under to get her teeth cleaned due to her age (12) and medical conditions (cushings + a heart murmur) that I was so excited to find this service and to see they catered to pets all around Australia. Mishka just got her teeth cleaned today – so impressed with the difference this has made! Dr. Cesar visited my home on 23rd feb 2018 to clean my Pomeranian Chiquita’s teeth. At first, I was really nervous as Chiquita has had a lot of procedures and very anxious with vets. Michiko, my 15.5 year old Bichon Frise had her teeth cleaned by Cesar yesterday. Cesar was extremely patient, gentle and thorough in his cleaning of Michiko’s teeth. I also learnt a great deal about maintaining Michiko’s teeth going forward and also things to watch out for which I would have otherwise not known i.e. she has a shaky incisor which may need extraction, she also has periodontal gum disease and he recommended gentler ways to clean her teeth rather than a toothbrush. Michiko is not an easy dog to work with as she wiggles a lot and sneezes a lot but Cesar managed to calm her down and got the cleaning done! I’m so happy and would highly recommend others give him a go! You will not be disappointed 🙂

Dr. Cesar did a great job and we were so

He was very friendly and was gentle to our dog. I think it was hard work as it was the first time our dog got her teeth cleaned,

I am grateful that there is a vet who can clean the teeth of my two dogs without anaesthesia. The normal dog teeth cleaning procedure is traumatic to the dogs and not very good for their kidneys. Dr. Cesar left my dogs happy, alert and with clean teeth! Thanks.

I am elated that my little teacup maltese was able to have her teeth cleaned tonight with no anaesthetic in her own home! I was very sceptical he would be successful as she is VERY spoilt and I really didn’t think she would let him! But he triumphed and now she has lovely clean teeth! Very happy to recommend ….

My cat received the teeth cleaning procedure (he had a lot of built up teeth calculus), now its clean and looks healthy. The cat was very calm and not stressed at all about the procedure (doctor calmed him down). I am very happy with the service that has been provided by Cesar.

Helpful Review 3My 2 girls were able to have their teeth cleaned at home where they can be relaxed. The convenience of having Cesar & Heidi come to us was all so simple!
One of my girls had extraordinary plaque build up that is now all completely gone – no anesthesia, no expensive vet bill, no distress & recovery time for my girls. They both have been SO happy after their treatments & they werent in ANY pain all all while they were having their teeth done. Wren even needed 2 teeth pulled & still was relaxed.
Cesar is amazing at what he does & is worth EVERY cent of the very well priced treatments he offers.
Haidee is warm & friendly & such a genuine animal lover (they both are).
I am gushing, i know, but these 2 really made an impact on me & my 2 girls & i will not only never use another dental care practitioner but I will make sure i tell everyone i know with dogs.
THIS IS A MUST IF YOU WANT HEALTHY, HAPPY, VIBRANT & LONG LIVING ANIMALS.

I had known his breath was bad, when he was immunised l asked the vet about his breath, he looked and said, we will look at it again next year, only 2 months ago.
