    Our Penny has been going to Groom-Me since she was a pup. She spends the day for an extra charge. Always looks immaculate when she comes out. Super fluffy and super happy!

    Appalling experience at this groomers. Negligent, untrained staff have left my doggy physically injured, and with a terrible haircut. Made to pay in advance over the phone, and made to sign a disclaimer on arrival allowing them to do whatever they want to the dog. Should have been a red flag ! Staff grinded her claws so far down that she’s been left bleeding and limping. One claw is no longer visible it has been grinded so far back.
    I left my Cavoodle for a groom with instruction to cut medium length (teddy bear) and NOT too short. As many others have reported, the staff here can’t be bothered and just shave the dogs to the bone. A few very small, minor tangles in isolated locations apparently justify a full shave all over (although left patchy in areas). Nothing but pure laziness in reality. Shave level on the clippers so short that they cut her skin!! Leaving my first ever negative review so other dog owners don’t make the same mistake.

    the best place in melbourne to have your dog groomed they have high stander on they work and they are very well mannered girls all good i have taken my poodle there for a number of years now and is always perfect i now live in bALLARAT and still travel to st Kilda to get my little dog groomed.     Couldn’t recommend higher! Lisa and the team work so well together. The shops aesthetics are top shelf. Dog grooming can be quiet daunting for both the owner and the dog but rest assured your pup is in great hands, trained staff and professional setup to get your pup showroom ready!

    Lisa-Marie, Hannah and all of the wonderful team at Groom-Me are excellent. They are hard-working and go above and beyond! Lisa-Marie uses her German prowess to run a highly efficient and organised service that ensures your dog is pampered and made to feel like royalty. Winston isn’t a fan of being groomed but happily runs to the entrance of Groom-Me knowing he has a day of playing with other pooches ahead. When I pick him up he is exhausted from all the activities and looks so handsome.

    Absolutely love this place.
    The crew were so helpful and really made us feel welcomed. The groom was exactly what I wanted for my dog and he couldn?t be happier. I also loved the personal touches which is what help me decide Groom-me by Lisa-Marie will be ?the one ? we go to. Otis loves his little bandanna.

    Pippa our spoodle has been coming to Groom me for several years now and I can honestly say that Lisa and Hannah do an amazing job and are extremely caring and honest.
    We have not always come out with the perfect desired haircut through the last few lockdowns as Pippa has very thick and tight curls that matt up easily, but she always comes back super clean and smelling like roses!
    With regular visits that we can do now, she looks a treat.

    This place is great! I took my Samoyed here after not being to a professional groomer for two years due to COVID lockdowns. She was quite matted and the team did a great job of thoroughly brushing her out and giving her the care she needed – she looked amazing afterwards and was very happy 🙂

    Brought my pug cross in and he had the most amazing experience!! The reception staff were amazing! He came back happy and healthy!     Terrible experience for my groodle, they just shaved the poor guy instead of actually cutting him. I took him in with what I thought was a good condition coat and expected a nice cut not him to be fully shaved. Really disappointed.

    I would advice to go since paws on fitzroy not this knock off place who pretend to be a groomers.

    Lisa-Marie and team have been cutting Poppy for many years. From a small house in St Kilda, to the shop front on St kilda Road. It?s always been a pleasure and Poppy who is an anxious dog never has an issue and mostly stays all day for care as well. It?s been a pleasure to see the business grow and Lisa-Marie?s family too ! The negative reviews on hear are funny! Your dog couldn?t be in better hands, Lisa-Marie and her team always give you a direct answer and if you can?t handle it you potentially shouldn?t have a dog!
    Can?t wait to drop my old girl off this Friday !

    This place is amazing. Don?t listen to dog owners like Emma who obviously care less about their dog than the staff at Groom me.
    I don?t think it?s a coincidence that the only low rated reviews here are from owners with dogs who have matted fur.

    I?ve been attending with my dog Bowie for nearly 5 years and I have had nothing but great experiences. Bowie?s welfare groom during lockdown was shorter than usual but it was necessary and GM team only have your dog?s welfare in their minds.
    I?ve always been treated with respect and kindness and everything has always been explained. Bowie is sometimes scared when I drop him off, and the team are gentle and kind with him. Usually he doesn?t want to come home when I collect him as he?s having so much fun.
    The GM team really care about dogs – it?s obvious and apparent whenever you deal with them. They are grooming experts and I wish that more owners like Emma trusted them to do what is best for their dog rather than slandering a small business who is doing it tough after lockdowns.

    If you are looking for a grooming salon that will put your dog first then GM is the place for you! Not only that but Bowie looks extra handsome after his groom (even his welfare one) and the compliments are endless. The team are incredibly talented on top of being absolute animal lovers!

    My baby went here for the first time and i am disgusted how they have treated my Millie. After lockdown she had a few knots so I understood that she would be cut short I did not expect her to be completely shaved including cutting off her whiskers which dogs need to sense things around them ? She is distraught, shaking from being so cold and not herself. There was no apology whatsoever in-fact they told me to stop contacting them with my complaint. This is abuse to my baby as far as I?m concerned because it has left her stressed and very sad. No stars is what I want to give but it wouldn?t allow me to do that.

    Poor customer service, neglected my baby and left her stressed ?? very very unhappy customer!!

    Cannot recommend this groomer enough. Tentative and caring. I have a schnauzer and am pedantic about the cut. While there are several variations in styling, the groomer will always consult upon arrival to what style you wish and make recommendations based on this. They use social media extremely well, giving owners a little behind the scene viewing on what goes on during grooming. Great girls and great service. 10/10

    What an amazing groomer. Fit me in on late notice and when I arrived with pup I felt like they genuinely loved to have every single dog come visit. When my partner picked him beside from him looking gorgeous – he had had a few hours to play and socialise and they told us he had so much fun and bring him back asap! Such a reasonable price as well. I will be back every month even though I have a short haired French bulldog!

    My dog Felix was hesitant at first, as he always is when he is away from his mum. Now he absolutely loves visiting the store, and enjoys the play and stay. Felix loves the relaxed cage free environment, with air conditioning and a back yard area for the dogs to play. Felix loves all the staff. Lisa Marie is such an animal lover, she gives him organic treats and toys for all the dogs to play with. I would recommend Groom-me to friends and family big thumbs up ?

    I?ve worked at a vet for five years and I?m so impressed with how happy dogs return from their day at Groom-Me. Lisa-Marie and team know what their doing style wise and make it their priority to ensure the dog is comfortable and as relaxed as possible. No cages, plenty of space, and hugs and cuddles from all the staff. Plus a cute bow tie. The owner, Lisa is very transparent and welcomes visits to check out the beautiful shop which I really loved.

    Unfortunately, my dog and a few of my neighbours? dogs had unpleasant experiences at this place . We had our dogs there for grooming and day care. However all of our dogs refused to go back into the shop after their first couple of visits . The girls does a good enough job with grooming I suppose, but they also have ?daycare? service , but I?ve seen and heard how they handle their dogs , and we?ve seen scars and cuts on our dogs as they come back from groom me. We wish our dogs could tell us what happened there… anyway it?s not just me, but also other dogs in the same area .

      Hello Project P, sorry to hear you had an unpleasant experience.
      Some dogs don?t like grooming 🙁 Even my own dog Roam is not a huge fan and doesn?t like to be in the salon. Does it mean I mistreat him and I am a bad dog mum ? Surely not – I love Roam, Kilda and Otto more then anything. He just doesn?t like to be there and thats fine.
      Same with your or any other dogs which come and visit us.
      Some love to come and some are unfortunately very scared.
      We truly love our job and enjoy every day with the pups.
      We do offer for owners to stay during the grooming process maybe it would be good for you to see how we actually handle the dogs. (Kisses + cuddles lol)
      You will be able to see what actually happens and how dog grooming works. 🙂
      We have now late Monday evenings so everyone is welcome to stay after work.

    Groom-me is the best! Our little pup Alfie has been going there since his first groom (he is 9mths). He is a pain (and a half) to groom but Lisa Marie always gets the job done and him looking dapper. The main thing is he is never traumatised or affected when he gets home, so we know he is treated well!

    Felix loves his visits!! ?

    The girls go over and beyond what is expected. At previous groomers Felix has returned home with wet ears. This is not the case at Groom-me. The girls pay attention to detail and put the time and effort into Felix to have him looking impeccable and ready to impress!

    Felix loves the freedom he has in the store as he is able to socalise with the other dogs whilst he awaits collection.

    The girls have developed a good relationship with him. Felix and I appreciate all your hard efforts. Thank you to the team at Groom-me.

    Been taking my dog for grooming here for a few years now. I have tried lots of different grooming services in the past 8 years, and this place is the best one so far. They have great customer service and even gave me a tour of the place on my first time so that I was comfortable to leave my dog there, and they don?t use cages.

    Lisa-Marie grooms and looks after our puppy George – he is excited when we walk there in the morning, and exhausted when he gets home. Lisa-Marie and her team take great care of George <3
